The Iguana Complex by Darby Larson

Mud Luscious Press does great things. I’ve always admired their ideas and their books, and their newest venture is no different. The Nephew series publishes “raw & aggressive pocket-sized titles in limited-editions of 150 copies or for a sales period of three months, whichever comes first.” This is very cool.

Their first title is The Iguana Complex, by Darby Larson. I haven’t read it yet, but I can almost guarantee it’s incredibly awesome. I’ve read Darby’s work over the years and have always loved it. (You can read some in the Monkeybicycle archives here, here, and here).

This is the first in what I suspect will be a long line of great Nephew titles. You should get on the boat early and grab a copy of The Iguana Complex while you still can.

(Full disclosure: I design the books for Mud Luscious Press. But I was a big fan of what they do long before I was brought on board.)
