Colleen Morrissey was born in Omaha, Nebraska and hasn’t yet had the heart to live anywhere but the Midwest. She achieved her B.A. in English at the University of Iowa and is currently a candidate for an English literature M.A. at the University of Kansas. Her poetry has been featured in Parcel and Blue Island Review. Her inclusion in Monkeybicycle9 is her fiction debut.
